INTRODUCTION

       E-business is any aspect of the ordering and purchasing procedures carried out online. E-business began to spread among people at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic era. It is because, people could not go out and buy whatever they want during pandemic. With E-business, people can purchase whatever they want with online purchasing. E-business really helps some people to survive. During pandemic era, many people could not afford to pay the rent and their expenses on food, bills and more because they did not have money. Some companies also had to shut their company down due to lack of workers and money to continue.

        When pandemic Covid-19 happened, many people joined E-business as a seller, dropship, personal shopper, and agent to get their income. There are many platforms that allowed the sellers to sell their items on online website such as TikTok Shop, Instagram, Shopee, Lazada, and Shein. Since pandemic Covid-19, people are more focus on using internet and they often use internet as a daily use. This is the main reason why people choose to join E-business, because there are so many target customers are using internet to purchase their needs.

       E-business really improve our lifestyle. There are many reasons why E-business manage to help people to improve themselves and help people to survive during this era. E-business and e-commerce are related, but e-business includes much more than just online shopping. Functions and services include everything from creating intranets and extranets to having application service providers deliver e-services online. Businesses use e-business to do joint research, work together on sales promotions, and purchase components and supplies from other businesses.

         Businesses are constantly rethinking and redefining their business models in response to emerging technology, hybrid workforces, raised customer expectations, and in particular, the accessibility, reach, and ever-evolving capabilities of the internet. New business requirements have emerged as a result of the recent expansion of e-business. Customers anticipate businesses to offer self-service choices for making purchases, individualized interactions, and quick, secure interactions. For maintaining the security of electronic data, new legal regulations and recommended practices have been devised. To defend themselves from hackers, fraud, and theft, businesses have implemented strict security policies and tools including encryption, digital certificates, and multi-factor authentication.

 As a result of growing interconnectedness and intelligent automation, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, theorizes rapid change to technology, industries, and societal patterns and processes in the 21st century. The World Economic Forum’s founder and executive chairman, Klaus Schwab, popularized the phrase in 2015. It has been used frequently in scholarly literature. According to Schwab, the changes are more than merely efficiency gains; they represent a significant transition in industrial capitalism. One of the most dynamic and exciting developments in information and communications technology is the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT). Although networking technologies have become increasingly ubiquitous over the past two decades, until recently they have largely been restricted to connecting traditional end-user devices, such as mainframes, desktop and laptop computers, and, more recently, smartphones and tablets. In recent years, a significantly wider variety of devices have been connected to the network. Vehicles, home appliances, medical equipment, energy meters and controllers, streetlights, traffic lights, smart TVs, and virtual assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Home have all been included. 

Customers may shop faster and for what they want. They can quickly browse numerous goods at once and purchase what they choose.

           E-business is not a new thing in the business industry. But, E-business started spreading to social media since 2020 when the covid-19 pandemic started. With E-business, people are more freely to purchase whatever they want. Other than that, E-business is easier for people to purchase because they do not have to go out and pay at cashier like how they used to do when they purchase something at supermarket. It is also had various choices to choose. And with E-business, people can have many options to choose if they do not know what to choose.

          For example, when you want to buy some clothes online, there are many choices and people can choose freely according to their size and availability. But online products might look slightly different from the preview because of brightness and camera skills. And with purchasing clothes using E-business, people can not try the clothes and measure it well. If the clothes did not fit well with them, they cannot refund it back. So, it is important for people who wants to purchase clothes online to measure and know their size well before buy it.

          Customers may shop faster and for what they want. They can quickly browse numerous goods at once and purchase what they choose. Online shoppers get access to products that are unavailable locally or are only available in distant physical stores. For many
consumers, ecommerce saves the day in this situation.

          

When they seek for something online, they promptly receive an answer and can purchase it. One benefit of doing business online is being able to choose from a variety of things and have their order delivered as well. All the procedures involved in finding an item, reading its description, and adding it to your cart take very little time. Ultimately, the purchaser is content because he now owns the item they purchase.

     E-business manage to improve our lifestyle because of faster response to buyers. When you start selling online, every interaction is quicker. E-business marketplaces give you access to a streamlined delivery or logistics infrastructure. This indicates that the buyer’s order is efficiently delivered. Another benefit that may be easily handled is the administration of product returns; you can either issue a refund or a replacement.

         Even in response to market needs, swift responses can be used. Consider the following e-commerce illustration: If a customer notices that an item is out of stock, he can select the ‘Notify Me’ option. This notifies him when the item will be back on sale. Additionally, it alerts vendors that they must refill that product in order to attract additional customers.

         If there is a need for voice activated personal assistants, a seller can meet it right away by keeping these things in stock. He is confident that this product will sell and has observed similar results with other vendors as well. Merchants can quickly generate promotions and specials. This draws clients and increases the likelihood of making more sales. Online retailers can create and use coupons whenever they want, and they can even tailor the deals for their own store.

   They have several payment methods. Customers enjoy customization, and they also enjoy paying for their orders. Ecommerce marketplaces accept a variety of payment methods, including UPI, pay later credit, cash on delivery, card on delivery, net banking, and EMIs on credit or debit cards.

          

Additionally, it alerts vendors that they must refill that product in order to attract additional customers.

Customers are limited to using one payment method per order. The order value, simplicity of payment, and accessibility of cash or credit cards all have an impact on this decision. In rare circumstances, a dedicated wallet amount and a payment method can be combined. For sellers, this means they won’t have to miss out on a potential sale opportunity because there aren’t enough payment options.

E-business sellers also have no limitations in serving customers. Compare to physical stores workers, they have their own limit to serve the customers.

          E-business is very good for customers who wants to save their money too because online products are cheaper to compare with store products. Online retailers have the option of comparing products on their own or with the use of tools. If a product demand is not met, this offers consumers a solid sense of the product alternatives and normal prices that are available.

        Since all information is readily available on the buying website, it helps to save time while performing this comparison. Sellers may not have access to as many details in a physical store; instead, they just have better understanding of their own inventory. This provides the customer with another advantage. People are more willing to spend money when they see a lot of available goods.

        E-business sellers also have no limitations in serving customers. Compare to physical stores workers, they have their own limit to serve the customers. A physical store may limit the numbers of customers a vendor can reach. Although there may be distance restrictions, they can deliver to clients’ houses. Several online stores have their own delivery and logistical networks.

    This is advantageous for sellers who need to broaden their customer base. This holds true for both physical store owners and online-only merchants. Online-only vendors can save their logistics expenses while still having customers trust them. Local customers are first served by sellers who have physical stores for their products.

CONCLUSIONS

          E-business really helps people to survive in entrepreneur industry. E-business has unquestionably risen to prominence in our society. Future-proof businesses will be those that take e-business seriously and invest enough money in its expansion. E-business is a whole-business endeavor rather than an IT problem. The businesses that use it as an excuse to overhaul their operational procedures stand to gain the most. E-business is also a useful tool that allows customers access to businesses and organizations around the globe.


          Even though the stock market and commodity prices declined, E-business was still able to survive and have strong transaction levels. It still represents one of the business strategies that can benefit if used properly. E-business is a huge possibility for our firm in Malaysia. It also pertains to implementing fresh methods and aesthetics in a transaction. It is much better to bring the goodness of the individual or the state by using the broad E-business in the Internet world.


          In general, businesses today must constantly work to provide the next best thing that customers will want since they constantly want their goods and services to be better, faster, and less expensive. Businesses in this age of emerging technology must adapt to the various new customer trends and wants since doing so will be essential to the survival and profitability of their organizations. E-business is developing and becoming increasingly significant to businesses as technology develops; as a result, it should be utilized.


          The opportunities have grown exponentially since the advent of the Internet and e-commerce, for both clients and customers. Expanding business prospects and technological improvements while giving consumers more choices. E-business does, however, have some drawbacks, such as consumer uncertainty, just like anything else, but nothing that can’t be resolved or avoided by wise decision-making and company procedures.
